I'm thinking to install the mast on the roof at this same point. Dishy is installed at the front of the house (south side) which keeps it the furthest from the trees behind the house (north side). (From what I read I should use 4 equally spaced guy wires). I doubt it will make it fully unobstructed.but I'd like to try and figure out if I can do a mast installation without a guy wire running directly in front of my home. I'm thinking that mounting dishy on a 25' telescoping mast will be a major improvement. My visibility results show red dots to the north, at the tops of the trees. My house is on a south-westerly facing slope and since dishy always wants to face north it's a real problem for reception. Video streaming is mostly fine but Zoom calls have constant freezes. I have my Gen 2 dishy on my roof, and I have constant obstructions from trees directly behind me which is north.
